Met Gala 2017 Worst Dressed

Is there any better way to celebrate the beginning of the May than to share with you guys few thoughts on the Met Gala outfits? This year, I didn’t do the event for any of my freelance jobs, but I’ve decided to do it just for myself – because Met Gala is my fav thing about spring (except magnolias) and talking shit about other people is my lifetime fav (lol). Anyways, let’s get this after-after afterparty started!
Everyone’s talking about the best-dressed (hey, Blake) I’ve decided to go over those I hated – for all the different reasons.
Let me start with Julianne Moore’s Calvin Klein By Appointment dress that was so beautiful and so age-unappropriate! This dress would look amazing on 16-year old (okay, early 20’s would work too), but Julianne is a bit too mature for that.
Next, I cannot go by and not to mention Kim K in Vivienne Westwood. I’m so glad she lost her vulgarity for this night, but seriously? That’s Met Gala, not a beach wedding.
Lena Dunham in Elizabeth Kennedy’s dress looked like a freaking red velvet cake – not sexy, not beautiful, not gorgeous. And not even that delicious.
Rihanna took it way too far with the 3D flower dress by Comme des Garçons – don’t you think so? It’s super appropriate for the stage performance, for the Met’s red carpet – not so much. Image result for rihanna met gala 2017
Bella Hadid is great (they say so), Alexander Wang is amazing – all together, it was a red carpet disaster. Hadid and Kendall Jenner (in La Perla) reminded me a lot of Rose McGown’s famous dress from when she was dating Marilyn Manson. And, she looked less inappropriate than these two supermodels.
Probably, the forecast said “95% possibility of showers” – what else could make Priyanka Chopra wear this coat (sorry, dress) by Ralph Lauren? Darling, they have a roof, and they’d find a way to keep you dry.
So, what are your less favorite outfits from this year’s Met Gala? Share in comments!
